Bansko - ski & snowboard, equipment hire, lift passes, hotels, transfers

Bansko is the best and the most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian resorts and Eastern Europe in general. Located at the foots of Pirin Mountains National Park nowadays Bansko prides itself with: more than 70km of marked ski runs and cross country tracks (longest run is 3,5km) designed to suite skiers and snowboarders of every level: from beginners and intermediates to advanced and off-piste; altitude of the ski runs between 1100 and 2560m with main exposure being North; 6 chair lifts, 1 gondola (8-seat), 7 drags and 10 baby drags; the best snow record and the longest ski season of all Bulgarian resorts; great variety of accommodations – from guesthouses and cozy family pensions to 5-star hotels; more than 100 taverns (called “Mehana”) with live folklore music and exceptionally colorful nightlife. 
 

PRICES FOR SKI/SNOWBOARD SERVICES IN BANSKO FOR 2012-13

Notes:                                                                                                    
- All prices are in Euro per person
- All packages, including lift pass, include also mountain insurance!
- Snowboard services are provided only to clients aged 12 and over
- Ski school is provided to children aged 7 and over
- Snowboard school starts to expire from the first day of ski pass validity if booked in a package
- 13 days packs are inclusive of 12 days ski and snowboard tuition
- Prior to arrival we recommend you make winter sports insurance (e.g. via World Escapade)

INSTRUCTIONS (please read carefully or visit our comprehensive FAQs chapter here!)

Reservation and payment
- please complete your reservation online, chosing the first date of skiing and followed by assigning ski/snowboard services to each particular name from your party, your address in Bansko and a phone number of yours just in case
- you will receive an automatic confirmation from our reservation system on the email address used  during the booking process, incl. an invoice (payable by bank transfer or online by credit card via our secure system for online payment (processed by Realex Payments and settled by EMS Card), our booking conditions and ski/snowboard fitting instructions; using the login details in this confirmation email you can access your reservation online anytime if you wish to make amendments, to pay by card, to cancel it etc.
- as soon as we capture the payment, vouchers will be issued and sent to you by email (inside you will have the contact details of our representative, information about where the ski/snowboard fitting will take place etc.); please print them and note the metting time and location mentioned inside
- no photo is needed for the lift passes

Collecting the ski packages
- you can collect your ski packs every day from 08.30 to 10.00 in or around the Gondola lift station (exact place you will find in your vouchers), where you will find our representative (note that ski packages cannot be collected any later than 10.00 as ski classes will already be underway and cannot be joined later; the ski equipment and lift passes cannot be collected the previous day but if you have booked transfer with us you will be able to fill the ski cards beforehand and save time during the fitting process itself;
- upon presentation of your vouchers you will receive an envelope with your ski packs, which will consist of (depending on your purchased items) lift passes, vouchers for ski/snowboard equipment, ski/snowboard school, ski evening and a customer card; please check if the contents of the envelope correspond to your order and if there are any discrepancies please talk to our rep; if you have booked ski/snowboard equipment please fill in the customer card accordingly before the ski fitting

Ski fitting & equipment collection
- when you have completed the customer card, first choose your boots and then give your ski equipment voucher along with your customer card to the staff who will assist you with the ski fitting; the bottom part of the customer card (with the barcode) is your ticket for the ski/snowboard equipment, so please don’t lose it and keep it dry!!!
- ski and snowboards will be kept in the storage room of the ski depot, but please take the ski boots with you! Don’t leave your equipment unattended! Please note that stolen equipment has to be paid for even you provide as a substitute someone else’s equipment instead!

Ski & snowboard school
- the meeting point for the ski and snowboard schools is at the top station of the cabin lift at the ‘Meeting point’ sign; newcomers are assigned in different groups according to their skiing skills until 10:00 every day
- lunchbreaks are between 12.00 and 13.00
- if you intend to join the ski/snowboard school later than normal please speak with the ski teacher the day before and arrange details directly with him/her
- when your package has started already, ski tuition and equipment cannot be changed with snowboard tuition and equipment (and vice versa)
